Substance information
The name component "palmitoyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, palmitic acid (hexadecanoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). "Hydroxypropyl" refers to 2-hydroxypropanol (1,2-propanediol) as alcoholic component or generally the 2-hydroxypropyl group as hydrocarbon residue. Ingredient on the basis of modified cellulose (hydroxypropyl cellulose).
