The name component "cocoyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid components, amongst others, fatty acids from coconut oil (cocos nucifera oil) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). Polymer or copolymer based on adipic acid (1,6-hexanedioic acid) and possibly other monomers. This ingredient contains trimethylolpropane (1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)propane) as alcoholic component. "Copolymer" refers to a polymer composed of several different (mostly two) basic units (monomers).
