"...Amidoethyl" refers generally to a (fatty) acid amidoethyl grouping. "Diethonium..." refers to a quaternary diethyl ammonium salt, often based on fatty amines. The name component "isostearoyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, isostearic acid (isooctadecanoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). "Hydrolyzed" means: hydrolysed or a hydrolysate (product of the separation of a chemical compound by reaction with water, often by means of enzymes). "Protein" refers to proteins, mostly of plant origin. Proteins are biological macromolecules which are made from amino acids.
