Substance information
"Aminopropyl" refers to an alkylamine grouping (3-amino-1-propyl-). "Propyl" mostly refers to propanol (1-propanol or n-propanol) as alcoholic component or generally a saturated hydrocarbon chain with 3 carbon atoms. "Glycol" refers to divalent alcohol as alcoholic component of this ingredient (ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol and others). Maleates (not to be confused with malates) are salts or esters of maleic acid (cis-butenedioic acid).
