Substance information
"Butyl" normally refers to butanol (1-butanol or n-butanol) as an alcoholic component or generally a saturated hydrocarbon chain with 4 carbon atoms. Methacrylates are polymers or copolymers based on methacrylic acid and / or its esters. "Acryloyl" refers to the acryloyl group H2C=CH-CO- (the acyl residue of the acrylic acid). "Methacryloyl" refers to the methacryloil group (methacryloil-). "PG" refers to propylene glycol (1,2-propylene glycol, propane-1,2-diol) as alcoholic component of this ingredient. "Copolymer" refers to a polymer composed of several different (mostly two) basic units (monomers).
