Substance information
Polymer or copolymer based on 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) and possibly other monomers. "Methyl" mostly refers to methanol (methyl alcohol) as alcoholic component or generally the methyl group as the smallest hydrocarbon residue with one carbon atom. Dimethyl-, trimethyl- etc refer to two, three or more methyl groups. Carbamates are salts or esters of carbamide acids. The esters are better known under the name of urethanes.
