Substance information
The name component "lauroyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, lauric acid (dodecanoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). "Pentyl" normally refers to pentanol as an alcoholic component or generally a saturated (possibly branched) hydrocarbon chain with 5 carbon atoms. "Glycol" refers to divalent alcohol as alcoholic component of this ingredient (ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol and others). Adipates are salts or esters of adipic acid (hexanedioic acid). Polymer or copolymer based on aziridine (ethylenimine, EI) and possibly other monomers. "Cross polymer" refers to a crosslinked polymer.
