Substance information
"Acetylated" refers to the introduction of an acetyl group (CH3-CO-, the acyl residue of the acetic acid). "Glycol" refers to divalent alcohol as alcoholic component of this ingredient (ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol and others). Stearates are salts or esters of stearic acid (octadecanoic acid).
