Bacteria of the genus bifidobacterium are used for fermentation. Bacteria of the genus streptococcus (streptococci) are used for fermentation. Ingredient on the basis of (cow’s) milk. "Ferment" generally refers to a fermentation product (mostly vegetable starting material, converted with enzymes, (yeast-) fungi or bacteria). "Lysate" generally refers to a product of the breaking down (lysis) of cells or microorganisms. "Extract filtrate" refers to the filtrate of a solvent extract, eg with water, alcohol or carbon dioxide (mostly vegetable starting material).
