Substance information
This ingredient contains cetyl alcohol (1-hexadecanol) as alcoholic component. This ingredient contains pyrrolidine (tetrahydropyrrole) as amine component. "Methyl" mostly refers to methanol (methyl alcohol) as alcoholic component or generally the methyl group as the smallest hydrocarbon residue with one carbon atom. Dimethyl-, trimethyl- etc refer to two, three or more methyl groups. "Dimonium …" refers to a quaternary dimethyl ammonium salt, mostly on the basis of fatty amines. Examples: "steardimonium…" contains a stearyl-(C18) carbon chain; "laurdimonium…" corresponds to a lauryl-(C12-) hydrocarbon residue. Chlorides are salts of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid).
