"Sodium..." refers to a sodium salt. The name component "lauroyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, lauric acid (dodecanoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). The name component "myristoyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, myristic acid (tetradecanoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). Glutamates are salts, esters or amides of glutamic acid (2-aminopentanedioic acid, an amino acid).
