"Acrylate" or "acrylates" are polymers or copolymers based on acrylic acid and / or other alkyl acrylates (acrylic acid esters). "Ethylhexyl" refers to 2-ethylhexanol as alcoholic component or generally a 2-ethylhexyl hydrocarbon residue. Polymer or copolymer based on 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) and possibly other monomers. "Copolymer" refers to a polymer composed of several different (mostly two) basic units (monomers).
