Substance information
Polymer or copolymer based on acrylic acid and possibly other monomers. "Isobutyl" mostly refers to iso-butanol (2-methyl-1-propanol, i-butanol) as alcoholic component or generally a branched saturated hydrocarbon residue with 4 carbon atoms. "Acrylate" or "acrylates" are polymers or copolymers based on acrylic acid and / or other alkyl acrylates (acrylic acid esters). "(Iso-)Bornyl" refers to borneol or isoborneol (1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-ol) as an alcoholic component. "Copolymer" refers to a polymer composed of several different (mostly two) basic units (monomers).
