Substance information
"Ethoxy" refers to a ethyl-oxygen group (CH3-CH2-O-). Diethoxy-, triethoxy- etc refer to two, three or more ethoxy groups. "Ethyl" refers mostly to ethanol (ethyl alcohol) as an alcoholic component or generally a hydrocarbon residue with 2 carbon atoms. Succinates are salts or esters of succinic acid (butanedioic acid). Sulfosuccinates are salts or esters of sulfosuccinic acid.
