Ingredient
DIOLEOYLISOPROPYL DIMONIUM METHOSULFATE
Substance information
The name component "oleoyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, oleic acid (cis-9-octadecenoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). "Isopropyl" mostly refers to iso-propanol (2-propanol, i-propanol) as alcoholic component or generally a branched saturated hydrocarbon residue with 3 carbon atoms. "Dimonium …" refers to a quaternary dimethyl ammonium salt, mostly on the basis of fatty amines.
