"...Siloxy" generally refers to a silicone-oxygen group, particularly in siloxanes. Siloxanes are silicone compounds in which the silicone atoms are interlinked via oxygen bridges. Polymeric siloxanes are referred to as silicones. "Propyl" mostly refers to propanol (1-propanol or n-propanol) as alcoholic component or generally a saturated hydrocarbon chain with 3 carbon atoms. Ingredient on the basis of tris(trimethylsiloxy)silane ("trimethicone").
