Polymer or copolymer based on adipic acid (1,6-hexanedioic acid) and possibly other monomers. Amines are generally organic compounds which are derived from ammonia and in which one, two or all three hydrogen atoms of the ammonia have been substituted by alkyl or aryl groups. "Copolymer" refers to a polymer composed of several different (mostly two) basic units (monomers).
