Substance information
"Ethylhexyl" refers to 2-ethylhexanol as alcoholic component or generally a 2-ethylhexyl hydrocarbon residue. "Methoxy" refers to a methyl-oxygen group (CH3-O-). Dimethoxy-, trimethoxy- etc refer to two, three or more methoxy groups. "Oxo" indicates a double-bonded oxygen atom in the molecule. This ingredient contains imidazole (1,3-diaza-2,4-cyclopentadiene) or imidazoline (hydrogenated imidazole) as amine component. Propionates are salts or esters of the propionic acid.
