Substance information
"Hydrogenated" means: treated with hydrogen (hydrogenated). Ingredient on the basis of starch. "Hydrolysate" refers to a product of hydrolysis (separated by water, often by means of enzymes). "Hydroxypropyl" refers to 2-hydroxypropanol (1,2-propanediol) as alcoholic component or generally the 2-hydroxypropyl group as hydrocarbon residue. "Trimonium..." refers to a quaternary trimethyl ammonium salt, often based on fatty amines. Examples: "steartrimonium..." contains a stearyl-(C18-) carbon chain; "laurtrimonium..." contains a lauryl-(C12-) hydrocarbon residue. Chlorides are salts of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid).
