Ingredient
HYDROLYZED SOY PROTEIN/VEGETABLE AMINO ACIDS/LYSINE HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE
Substance information
"Hydrolyzed" means: hydrolysed or a hydrolysate (product of the separation of a chemical compound by reaction with water, often by means of enzymes). Ingredient on the basis of soy beans (glycine soja). "Protein" refers to proteins, mostly of plant origin. Proteins are biological macromolecules which are made from amino acids. "Vegetable" means: of plant origin. "Amino Acids" refers to a mixture of amino acids, mostly of vegetable origin (obtained from proteins by hydrolysis). Ingredient on the basis of the amino acid lysine (2,6-diaminohexanoic acid). "Hydroxypropyl" refers to 2-hydroxypropanol (1,2-propanediol) as alcoholic component or generally the 2-hydroxypropyl group as hydrocarbon residue. "Trimonium..." refers to a quaternary trimethyl ammonium salt, often based on fatty amines. Examples: "steartrimonium..." contains a stearyl-(C18-) carbon chain; "laurtrimonium..." contains a lauryl-(C12-) hydrocarbon residue. Chlorides are salts of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid).
