Background information on use in cosmetics
Rosemary is used in cosmetic products because of its relaxing, antimicrobial and also vitalising effect. It is, for instance, used in bath additives. In soaps the antibacterial effect is appreciated. In shampoos rosemary has a refreshing effect for the scalp. Its scent is very stimulating.
