Bacteria of the genus lactobacillus (lactic acid bacteria) are used for fermentation. Ingredient on the basis of glycerin (1,2,3-propanetriol). "Hydrolyzed" means: hydrolysed or a hydrolysate (product of the separation of a chemical compound by reaction with water, often by means of enzymes). Ingredient on the basis of lactose (milk sugar). Ingredient on the basis of or converted with (baker's) yeast. "Extract" generally refers to a solvent extract, eg with water, alcohol or carbon dioxide. "Ferment" generally refers to a fermentation product (mostly vegetable starting material, converted with enzymes, (yeast-) fungi or bacteria).
