Background information on use in cosmetics

Mare’s milk has already been used for some time by alternative practitioners and natural medical practitioners against skin diseases like psoriasis and neurodermatitis, because it is rich in anti-bacterially acting substances. Moreover, it is used because of its ingredients such as unsaturated fatty acids, mineral substances, vitamins and enzymes also in bodycare products. They support the skin in increasing its elasticity, in smoothing it and giving it back lost moisture. Lipids (INCI: as word component LIPIDS), collective term for fatty substances, protect the skin against environmental influences and desiccation. They smooth the skin structure and reduce the water loss. Depending on the skin type, the share of lipids in the product is different. Special eye contour products supply, for instance, the sensitive eye area intensively with lipids and moisture factors.
