Substance information
"...Amidopropyl" refers generally to a (fatty) acid amidopropyl grouping. "Hydroxy..." generally refers to a hydroxy (hydroxyl) group -OH; the functional group of alcohols. Sultaines are organic compounds (amphoteric surfactants) which have both a positive and a negative charge in their molecular structure; to the outside they are hence uncharged.
