The name component "myristoyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, myristic acid (tetradecanoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). "PCA" is the abbreviation for esters or salts of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (pyroglutamic acid or 5-oxoproline). Ingredient on the basis of chitin (a polysaccharide).
