Shampoos
Description
Hair and scalp must be regularly freed from soil, excessive skin oils and sweat, shed horny cells, odours as well as residues of styling or care products. To this end, a comprehensive offer of different shampoos is available. Apart from a good cleansing effect, shampoos must easily foam, be mild, tolerable and practical in their handling. They are to provide the hair with gloss, volume and scent. Moreover, they must contribute to the care of the hair or the removal of certain hair and scalp problems such as damage, oily or dry hair. Shampoos contain primarily synthetic surfactants, produced on the basis of vegetable raw materials (eg sodium lauryl ether sulfate). They are mild and environmentally compatible. Their washing and foaming potential is largely independent from the pH value and the water hardness. Further components of shampoos are caring substances (PANTHENOL, proteins, plant extracts) and conditioning substances to improve combability, feel and gloss of the hair (eg POLYQUATERNIUM). The shampoo formula is completed by pearlescent or turbidity agents (eg MICA, GLYCOL DISTEARATE), foam stabilisers, thickening agents (eg SODIUM CHLORIDE, XANTHAN GUM), preservatives (eg SODIUM BENZOATE) and fragrances (PARFUM).
