Binders
Description
Binders are added to powder mixtures to make them mouldable. In pastes, binders prevent the separation of fixed and liquid ingredients. Moreover, they determine the consistency of products. Binders used for cosmetic products include above all natural organic hydrocolloids, cellulose esters and ethers as well as bentonites and synthetic polymers.
