"Dimonium …" refers to a quaternary dimethyl ammonium salt, mostly on the basis of fatty amines. Examples: "steardimonium…" contains a stearyl-(C18) carbon chain; "laurdimonium…" corresponds to a lauryl-(C12-) hydrocarbon residue. "Ethyl" refers mostly to ethanol (ethyl alcohol) as an alcoholic component or generally a hydrocarbon residue with 2 carbon atoms. This ingredient contains stearyl alcohol (1-octadecanol) as alcoholic component. Phosphates are salts or esters of phosphoric acid.
