The name component "oleoyl" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, oleic acid (cis-9-octadecenoic acid) (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). Hyaluronates are salts or esters of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid (salts: hyaluronates) is a so-called glycosaminoglycan, a long-chain linear polysaccharide.
