The name component "hydroxystearic" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, hydroxystearic acid (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). The name component "linolenic" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, linolenic acid (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). The name component "oleic" means that the ingredient contains, as fatty acid component, amongst others, oleic acid (mostly introduced via an acylation reaction). Glycerides are conversion products of glycerin (esters), which are obtained through a reaction with fats (through so-called trans-esterification) or through direct esterification with one or more fatty acid(s) (mono-, di- or triglycerides).
